Security and data
Your supplier pricing stays in your workspace
How Seller Sync keeps each workspace separate, handles your files and sign-ins, and uses your data. The Privacy Policy has the full detail.
What is in place today
Each item is how the product works now, not a plan.
One workspace, one wall
Your catalogs, results, suppliers and purchase orders belong to your workspace. The database enforces that with row-level security, so a request made for one workspace cannot read another workspace's rows.
Files go in through a signed link
Price lists upload straight to storage through a signed link that expires after 15 minutes and can only write into your workspace's own folder. Files are capped at 50 MB, and Excel files and PDFs are checked by their contents, not just their names.
Downloads expire too
Exports and attachments download through signed links that expire within an hour. The app never hands out a permanent public link to your files.
Sign-in and sessions
Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. Your session cookie is HttpOnly and Secure, so page scripts cannot read it. Sign-in, password resets, email verification and invites are rate limited.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
The site and the API use HTTPS, and browsers are told to accept nothing else for a year. Stored data is encrypted at rest, and other sites cannot load Seller Sync pages inside a frame.
Card details never touch us
You pay on a secure hosted checkout page, so we never see or store full card numbers. Billing and email delivery events are accepted only with a valid signature.
Staff access is logged
Authorized Seller Sync staff can open a workspace when support or operations needs it, and privileged account actions are recorded in an audit log.
No Amazon login needed
Prices, sales rank, offer counts and fees come from public Amazon listing data. You never connect your Amazon seller account or share its password.
Your data
What happens to what you upload
The short version of the Privacy Policy, in the order buyers ask.
Read the Privacy Policy- What you upload
- Supplier price lists, and the product names, costs and pack sizes in them.
- What it is used for
- Only to operate Seller Sync for you: reading your files, matching them to Amazon listings, working out profit, keeping your account secure, and sending the emails and notices you get.
- Who owns it
- You do. Your catalogs remain your property.
- Who can see it
- People in your workspace. Authorized Seller Sync staff when support or operations needs it. Service providers, only for the job each one does.
- Getting a copy
- Download your account data from Settings, under Security, at any time, including after your trial ends.
- How long it is kept
- Catalogs and account records are kept to run the service and keep your workspace history. Canceling does not delete them on its own, and a paused trial keeps its data so you can pick up where you left off.
- Deleting it
- Email support@sellersync.io from the account's address. We review the request, confirm it is your account, then close the workspace and remove access. Accounting and order records are kept.
Service providers
Who else handles the data
Seller Sync uses service providers for the jobs below. Each one receives only the information required for the operation it performs. For the current list of providers used for your account, email support@sellersync.io.
- Hosting and file storage
- Catalog extraction and matching, including AI models
- Amazon product data
- Payment processing
- Email and text message delivery
- Bot protection on sign-up and password forms
- Error monitoring
- Product analytics, when it is enabled

Email support@sellersync.io with the subject Security report, the steps to reproduce it and what you saw. Please do not access data that is not yours, and do not run tests that slow the service down for other customers. Contact details are also published at /.well-known/security.txt.
