Troubleshooting

Fix a failed or stalled catalog

Read the run status, resolve the cause, and try again.

Updated Oct 1, 2026

Read the current state

Open the catalog page to see the stage, saved progress, and error. A queued run is accepted and waiting for our servers to pick it up. A catalog that shows "File stored. Grading has not started" was saved without starting, for example because every grading slot was in use or credits ran short. It never starts by itself; choose Start grading when you are ready. Waiting for confirmation needs your input. Failed, paused, or canceled work is not moving.

The uploaded file and saved checkpoints stay available up to the step that completed them. Don't assume an incomplete step saved every intermediate result.

Try again or continue

Fix the reported cause before you try again. If the file itself is damaged or has wrong data, upload a corrected catalog. If a provider had a temporary problem, trying again later may succeed.

Try again and Continue start a new run from the catalog page, holding a fresh estimate of the credits it needs, which can grow from your balance if the run needs more. Completed checkpoints that can be reused reduce the work. You don't need to press the button more than once; repeated requests are deduplicated, so a second press does not create a second run.

Live updates disconnected

A lost browser connection does not by itself mean the run on the server stopped. Reopen the catalog to read its latest status. If it stays stalled or fails again, contact Support with the catalog name, stage, and the error you see.
