Your settings live under Settings, organized into six tabs. This article covers five of them; the Billing tab has its own article.
Profile
Settings that belong to you personally:
- Name: shown in your account menu, in the emails we send you, and on the purchase orders you build.
- Email: used for signing in and for every email we send you. Changing it requires your password and a verification email to the new address, so a typo can't lock you out.
- Minimum ROI threshold: your personal profitability floor, as a percentage. ROI (return on investment) is profit divided by your all-in cost. When set, every catalog's results open pre-filtered to rows at or above this ROI. It appears as a rule chip on the results page that you can adjust or clear per catalog; it's a starting filter, not a hard limit. Leave it blank for no floor.
Workspace
Shared defaults for everyone in your workspace. Changes here affect all members, so only an owner or admin of the workspace can make them; everyone else reads the values:
- Workspace name: shown in the side rail and your account menu, for everyone in the workspace.
- Default margin floor: the margin threshold your Reports deal-flow funnel and margin distribution use. Blank means the standard 15%.
- Buying preferences: how many days an order should last, your minimum ROI, your minimum profit a unit and, if you want one, the most an order should cost. PO Assistant uses them for its suggested quantities and the prices it asks for.
- Costs per unit: your prep, shipping to Amazon and storage per unit, also known as margin assumptions, edited in a window of their own. Catalogs you grade from now on use them, and a catalog's profit picks them up when you refresh its Amazon data. Saving doesn't recalculate profit you already have, and no cost can be over $1,000 a unit. Worth setting early: your graded results are only as accurate as these numbers.
- PO templates: one design for the PDF, Excel and CSV you send suppliers (logo, colors, columns, the PO number, and the ship to and bill to new orders start with), plus any order forms your suppliers want filled in. See Design your purchase orders.
- Landed cost: an optional production cost per unit, added to every unit in the Landed cost column on results and in exports. Profit leaves it out: it uses Costs per unit.
Appearance
Personal display preferences: theme (light, dark, or follow your system) and density, which controls how compact tables and lists render. Useful if you spend hours in large results tables.
Notifications
Choose how you hear about your catalogs and failed payments, and whether you get tips:
| Notice | When it arrives | Can you turn it off? |
|---|---|---|
| Catalog completed | A catalog finished grading | Yes (email and SMS) |
| Catalog failed | Something went wrong while grading | Yes (email and SMS) |
| Tips and offers | Getting started tips during your trial and one check-in after it ends | Yes (email only) |
| Payment failed | A payment could not be charged | The email is always on; the SMS alert is optional |
| Account, billing and trial notices | Security, payments, and your trial dates | Always on |
Account, billing and trial notices cover things you need to act on, such as email verification, password changes, trial reminders, and a failed payment, so they stay on while you have an account. You can also turn off tips and offers from the link at the bottom of those emails.
Catalog notices and failed payment alerts can also reach you by SMS. For a failed payment, SMS is an extra alert on top of the email, which always sends. To enable SMS, add your phone number first. Seller Sync texts you a verification code, and SMS toggles unlock once the number is confirmed.
Security
Change your password here (you'll need your current one). Use a long, unique password you don't use anywhere else. Changing your password signs you out everywhere else.
Download your data gives you a copy of your profile, workspace, and catalog list as a file. It is available any time, including after your trial ends.
