Limits
- 50 MB per file. Files over the limit are rejected at upload with the message "File exceeds the 50 MB limit." Most supplier lists are well under this; a 50 MB CSV holds hundreds of thousands of rows.
- 50,000 rows per catalog. If your supplier's list is bigger, split it into multiple files and upload each as its own catalog. See Large catalogs and grading times.
The file's contents must match its extension. A PDF renamed to .csv, for example, is rejected during reading. Save the file in the correct format instead of renaming it. See Common file errors and fixes for the exact messages and fixes.
Uploading more than one file
You can drop several files at once and they upload one after another. This is useful when a supplier sends a price list split across multiple files. Each file shows as a chip in the upload zone with its name and size; click the ✕ to remove one before uploading.
What happens right after upload
- Your file is uploaded securely and grading starts in the background.
- The catalog page opens with the credits held for the run and an estimated time range. You're never waiting on a blank screen.
- Columns are matched automatically during Mapping columns, so you don't need to rename headers to fit a template. The rows read from your file stay available as Source rows on Results.
File size, PDF complexity, provider availability, and queued work affect completion. A run continues on the server after you close the tab.
